Dr. Tejeda-Saldana is a Food Scientist with over a decade of interdisciplinary experience in academia, the food industry, and not-for-profit organizations. She currently serves as the Canadian Director of Responsible Research & Innovation at New Harvest. She co-founded the first Canadian nonprofit dedicated to cellular agriculture and has been instrumental in advancing the field and building a collaborative ecosystem in Canada. Her academic credentials include a PhD in Pathology from Western University, an MSc in Food Safety from Wageningen University, and a BSc in Food Chemistry from La Salle University.
