Nate is the founder and Managing Partner of Barrel Ventures. Growing up in the industry, he has a unique perspective having spent the early years of his life witnessing entrepreneurs, and later on as an entrepreneur in food himself. He has invested in dozens of companies throughout the global food ecosystem such as Olipop, Jumbotail, Helaina, Confido, Celleste, & more. Prior to Barrel Ventures, Nate was the co-founder of both Wise Apple, and L3 Hospitality Group. Nate is active in the community and has been a featured speaker at the Kellogg School of Management, Google, Pritzker School of Law, & the National Restaurant Association. He received his MBA from Kellogg school of business where he was a Zell Fellow, and received a Kellogg Scholarship & his BBA from Emory University's Goizueta School of Business.
