Heather Courtney is the Founding General Partner of Alwyn Capital, an impact-driven venture fund backing biotech companies reinventing how we feed, clothe, and care for a growing global population. Alwyn partners with innovators developing alternatives to animal products in food, materials, and medicine. Heather also advises the Center for Contemporary Sciences and formerly served as an advisor to the Material Innovation Initiative. She holds a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Florida and a BA in Photography and Visual Communication from Parsons School of Design.
